1. Overview & Commitment to Privacy

CYBER GRID PTY. LTD. (ABN 33 701 214 851, 204B Hall Street, Spotswood, VIC 3015) ("Cyber Grid", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) where applicable.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website and during business enquiries, how we use and safeguard it, and how you can access or correct your details.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum personal information reasonably necessary to respond to consultations and deliver professional engineering services:

  • Enquiry details you voluntarily submit—such as your name, work email address, phone number, organisation name, service interest and project notes;
  • Business correspondence records when you email, call or collaborate with our engineering team;
  • Standard operational server logs generated by static hosting providers (such as IP address, request timestamp, requested URL and user-agent string) used solely for security, abuse prevention and reliability monitoring.

3. Cookies & Privacy-Aware Analytics

This static website does not embed third-party behavioural advertising networks, cross-site tracking pixels or invasive fingerprinting scripts. Where aggregate traffic metrics are enabled in production, we use privacy-preserving configurations solely to understand page performance and broken links.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information exclusively for legitimate business purposes directly related to our software and IT consulting practice:

  • Reviewing and responding to technical consultation enquiries and project scoping requests;
  • Preparing statements of work, proposals, invoices and project communications;
  • Delivering, securing and supporting software or cloud services under a Client Agreement;
  • Complying with applicable Australian legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

We never sell, rent or trade personal information. We may disclose limited information only to trusted operational providers necessary to run our business (such as enterprise email, Australian cloud infrastructure or accounting software) bound by confidentiality and security obligations, or where required by Australian law.

6. Data Storage, Security & Retention

We apply technical and organisational security controls—including TLS encryption in transit, multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts, least-privilege access controls and encrypted cloud storage—to protect enquiry and client records against unauthorised access, modification or loss.

We retain personal information only for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or satisfy legal record-keeping obligations, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

7. Access, Correction & Complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing enquiries@cybergrid.au, calling +61 494 821 638, or writing to CYBER GRID PTY. LTD. at 204B Hall Street, Spotswood, VIC 3015. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you have a concern regarding how your personal information has been handled, please contact us first so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
